Lead Operational Excellence – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Operational Excellence to drive performance improvements at a major pharmaceutical production site in Drogenbos. You will work closely with the Site Head and cross‑functional teams to embed Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen practices during a period of significant capital investment and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Site Head to define and roll out Operational Excellence initiatives and the Hoshin Kanri methodology.
• Collaborate with Technical, Supply Chain, Production and Quality departments to align processes and foster continuous improvement.
• Coordinate improvement projects with global teams, share best practices and ensure consistent execution across the organization.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Kaizen projects, analyzing performance data to identify efficiency gains.
• Manage reporting tools such as OEE (via Leancure) and the Daily Management System (Fabriq).
• Train and coach employees on Operational Excellence tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Production Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement or industrial process optimization within a manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in French and English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Autonomous, proactive and passionate about driving change.
