Lead Consultant – OpenShift Managed Infrastructure

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Lead Consultant to design, build and operate large‑scale OpenShift, OpenStack and KVM platforms for enterprise customers. You will drive automation, SRE practices and cloud transformation across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design and manage OpenShift, OpenStack and KVM‑based infrastructures.
• Lead platform engineering, automation and Site Reliability Engineering for mission‑critical workloads.
• Drive containerisation and cloud migration initiatives in hybrid and multi‑cloud settings.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, security and compliance of enterprise platforms.
• Work within ITIL‑based delivery models and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 10–16 years of experience in infrastructure, cloud and virtualization.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with OpenShift, OpenStack and KVM.
• Expert‑level knowledge of OpenShift (OCP) architecture, installation, upgrades and cluster lifecycle.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, OpenStack components and virtualization performance tuning.
