Key Account Manager – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

Biocon Biologics is seeking a Key Account Manager to drive the adoption of its biosimilar portfolio among key healthcare stakeholders in the northeast region of Belgium. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and physicians, pharmacists, and hospital decision‑makers, ensuring they are informed about the latest scientific and practical benefits of our products.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the biosimilar portfolio to rheumatologists, gastroenterologists, and hospital pharmacists within immunology and oncology.
• Generate demand and build loyalty through regular visits to doctors and pharmacists on an assigned list.
• Detail products and provide up‑to‑date scientific information to customers.
• Develop and execute territory‑specific marketing plans, including visit schedules and promotional activities.
• Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to adjust strategies.
• Support tender processes and secure company interests in selected healthcare facilities.
• Conduct continuous medical education sessions and coordinate cycle meetings.
• Manage promotional material distribution in compliance with regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical or biosimilar sales, preferably within Belgium.
• Strong understanding of immunology and oncology therapeutic areas.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with key medical professionals.
• Excellent communication skills for scientific product detailing.
• Result‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
