Key Account Manager – Manufacturing (Steel)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to lead commercial excellence for a leading European steel manufacturer. You will work across construction, infrastructure, and industrial markets, shaping the future of steel solutions in Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and negotiate technical commercial proposals for high‑value accounts.
• Oversee the full quotation‑to‑order process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and expand client relationships through targeted visits.
• Coordinate with production and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with senior management on market strategy and expansion.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar sales role within the steel sector.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and specifications.
• Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex deals.
• Results‑oriented, collaborative and customer‑focused mindset.
