Junior Supply Chain & Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

This position supports purchasing and sourcing activities in a context of global component shortages. The junior coordinator monitors supply risks, manages critical component data, and works with multiple internal teams to minimise disruptions and optimise costs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify components facing supply constraints and monitor their availability.
• Assess and communicate current and future shortage risks, escalating issues when necessary.
• Monitor and analyse the cost impact of component shortages and market fluctuations.
• Track component obsolescence and help identify alternative solutions.
• Act as liaison between sourcing, industrialisation, planning, and engineering teams.
• Maintain and follow up on action plans related to supply risks and alternative sourcing strategies.
• Support ERP updates by maintaining key purchasing parameters, including supplier lead times.
• Manage purchasing information records and master data.
• Participate in the definition and implementation of alternative sourcing and supply solutions.
• Provide accurate reporting and status updates to stakeholders.

Required profile

• First experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply‑chain management, preferably with technical components.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, especially the MM module.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in project management and cross‑functional coordination.
• Strong analytical and data‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
