Junior Study Director – Extractables & Leachables

About the role

Join Baxter as a Junior Study Director focused on Extractables & Leachables (E&L). You will work with experienced scientists on cutting‑edge studies that ensure the safety of medical devices and pharmaceutical packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and execution of E&L studies with internal teams and external laboratories.
• Contribute to protocol writing, data analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure alignment with industry standards such as ISO 10993-18 and USP <1663/1664>.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups including analytical chemistry, toxicology, regulatory, and manufacturing.
• Participate in compound identification and data interpretation.
• Support scientific investigations and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with ~5 years of experience, or Master’s with ~2–3 years, or PhD in a relevant scientific field.
• Background in Chemistry, Analytical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Interest in regulated environments such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Strong team spirit and good communication skills.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
