Junior Project Engineer (Offshore)

About the role

Join a Belgian engineering consulting firm that supports SMEs and large industrial organisations in delivering innovation and R&D projects. As a Junior Project Engineer you will contribute to the extension of Europe and Belgium's offshore high‑voltage grid, connecting new wind farms in the Princess Elisabeth Windfarm zone.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Island Engineer Lead and Package Manager throughout design, construction and installation phases of the energy island.
• Conduct or assist small engineering studies (e.g., wave impact on structural elements, environmental studies for Nature Inclusive Design).
• Provide administrative support for site access tools and personnel follow‑up.
• Prepare documentation and reports on technical and project‑management conclusions.
• Organise team knowledge‑sharing events and lead monthly construction tours for stakeholders.
• Coordinate inputs between third‑parties, island lead engineers and other project packages.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Highly motivated to work on an offshore wind project and contribute to the energy transition.
• Structured, independent work style with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Quick learner with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in French or Dutch.

Required skills

• Excellent MS Office proficiency.
