Junior Personal Income Tax & Reward Consultant

About the role

Join PwC’s Tax & Legal Services team as a Junior Personal Income Tax & Reward Consultant. You will work closely with HR and finance teams to design and implement reward strategies that attract, motivate and retain talent while ensuring tax compliance. This role offers exposure to both local and international tax environments and the chance to develop expertise in executive compensation.

Key responsibilities

• Advise HR teams on reward strategies for senior executives, both locally and internationally.
• Support remuneration committees in designing short‑ and long‑term incentive plans, benchmarking packages and drafting reward policies.
• Provide guidance on income‑tax implications of compensation structures and ensure compliance.
• Assist clients with flexible benefits, mobility packages, cost calculations, payroll setup and tax return preparation.
• Co‑host workshops to define tailored total‑reward strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Liaise with tax authorities, respond to inquiries, manage audits and handle ruling applications.
• Build a strong network within PwC across different cultures and locations.

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently graduated with a Bachelor in Accounting‑Tax or a Master’s in tax law, economics, business administration or a related field.
• Strong interest in personal income tax, HR topics and compensation strategies.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint.
• Experience using Microsoft 365.
