About the role

We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel specialized in social law to join a well‑established professional organization in Belgium. This entry‑level position (0‑1 year of experience) offers the chance to advise members on employment law matters while receiving close mentorship from the Head of Legal.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to members on Belgian employment and social law issues.
• Draft legal opinions, memoranda, and compliance documents.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments affecting the sector.
• Assist senior counsel in preparing case files and client communications.
• Support the organization’s broader sector initiatives through legal expertise.

Required profile

• Law degree with a focus on social or employment law.
• 0‑1 year of relevant legal experience.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Motivation to develop a career in social law under mentorship.
