Junior Infrastructure & Cloud Architect

About the role

As a Junior Infrastructure & Cloud Architect you will join Accenture’s Intelligent Infrastructure Services practice, working on high‑stakes client engagements across industry, financial services, public sector, retail and energy. Under senior architects you will help design and implement cloud and hybrid solutions while gaining hands‑on experience with multi‑cloud platforms and modern infrastructure technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and documentation of cloud and hybrid architectures for enterprise clients.
• Support the development of cloud adoption strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory constraints.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud services and IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation and Bicep.
• Participate in architecture workshops and technical scoping sessions with client teams.
• Assist with containerisation and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, AKS, EKS).
• Help design CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks following DevSecOps standards.
• Support implementation of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch).
• Produce architectural deliverables including ADRs, diagrams, technical specifications and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with security, networking and DevOps teams to ensure solution integrity.
• Engage in communities of practice, certification initiatives and internal research activities.

Required profile

• Fluency in English is required; fluency in French and/or Dutch is also required.
• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
• Solid foundational knowledge of cloud concepts and infrastructure technologies.
