Junior HR Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior HR Assistant to join our international, people‑oriented company in Brussels. The role offers a broad introduction to Human Resources, supporting recruitment, onboarding, administration and payroll basics.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the recruitment process: post job ads, screen CVs, schedule interviews.
• Support the onboarding of new employees.
• Handle HR administration tasks such as contracts, personnel files, absences and certificates.
• Prepare HR documents and keep employee data up‑to‑date.
• Help with payroll preparation by collecting and verifying information.
• Participate in HR projects including employer branding, training coordination and wellbeing initiatives.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees, providing clear and friendly support.

Required profile

• Graduate in HR, Psychology, Office Management, Business or a related field.
• Eager to start a career and develop strong HR skills.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch with a good command of English.
• Organised, communicative and service‑minded.
• Proactive, eager to learn and comfortable handling confidential information.
• A real team player who enjoys working with people.
