Junior Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Financial Accountant to join our International Finance & Accounting department. You will support daily financial operations across all company entities, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, payments, and financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Support the booking of AP/AR invoices and preparation of financial statements.
• Review aging reports, manage cash collection and prepare bank payments.
• Assist in monthly and quarterly balance‑sheet reviews and year‑end closing.
• Prepare VAT, tax, and VIES declarations.
• Act as the main point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Support the Financial Accountant with general ledger processes.
• Post basic journal entries and maintain financial records.
• Prepare and update vendor and client reconciliations.
• Maintain documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, and GL teams to resolve accounting queries.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English; French is a plus.
• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS is advantageous.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with accounting software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of SAP (considered an asset).
• Familiarity with IAS/IFRS standards.
