Junior Communication Manager

About the role

ICF Next is seeking a Junior Communication Manager to support the Client Relations Department in designing and delivering EU‑wide communication campaigns. You will work closely with the Senior Campaign Manager and cross‑functional expert teams to ensure project milestones are met and stakeholder messages are effectively communicated.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with day‑to‑day campaign tasks and scheduling.
• Organise and attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders, preparing agendas and recording actions.
• Maintain project plans, deliverable lists, and action trackers.
• Update and manage the campaign’s collaborative platform.
• Perform quality control and follow‑up on specific deliverables.
• Apply PRINCE2 methodology to project implementation.
• Document lessons learned and identify bottlenecks, proposing workflow improvements under guidance.

Required profile

• Interest and basic knowledge of communication and EU affairs.
• Self‑motivated, “can‑do” attitude with strong organisational skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in project management or EU‑affairs related work.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Legal right to work in Belgium or eligibility for sponsorship.
