Junior Clinical Research Associate, Multi-Sponsor

About the role

IQVIA Belgium is looking for a motivated Junior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join its Site Management team. You will perform monitoring and site management work so that sites carry out studies correctly and report data as required by the protocol, regulations and sponsor requirements. The role offers exposure to a wide range of therapeutic areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site monitoring visits (selection, initiation, monitoring and close-out) in line with the contracted scope of work, GCP and ICH guidelines
• Work with sites to adapt, drive and track the subject recruitment plan
• Administer protocol and study training, and keep regular contact with sites to manage expectations and issues
• Evaluate the quality of site practices, escalate quality issues and track regulatory submissions, recruitment, CRF completion and data queries
• Ensure site documents are available for the Trial Master File and that the Investigator's Site File is kept according to GCP and local regulations
• Create and maintain documentation such as visit reports, follow-up letters and action plans
• Liaise with study team members; possibly support the start-up phase, develop a site-based recruitment plan, and handle site financial management and invoice retrieval where applicable

Required profile

• University degree in a scientific discipline or health care
• 2+ years of experience as a CRA
• Excellent command of Dutch, French and English; Belgium based
• Organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
• Flexibility to travel and a class B driver's licence
