Junior Attorney – Criminal Enforcement & Compliance

About the role

Eubelius is seeking a motivated junior attorney to join its Criminal Enforcement & Compliance team in Brussels. You will work on a wide range of matters, from high‑profile corporate investigations to individual‑scale criminal cases, supporting both alleged offenders and victims.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and represent clients in criminal litigation, investigations, and court proceedings before Belgian courts, including the Court of Assises, Court of Cassation, Constitutional Court, and European courts.
• Advise clients on legal risks, conduct criminal due diligence, and help design compliance programmes for companies, management, and employees.
• Collaborate closely with other Eubelius practice groups to provide comprehensive legal support across business matters.
• Handle investigations involving corruption, fraud, money laundering, cybercrime, environmental offences, and market manipulation.

Required profile

• Belgian law degree with strong academic results.
• Dynamic, hands‑on approach to legal work.
• Fluent written and spoken French; very good written English.
