Junior Advertising Specialist (Performance Marketing)

About the role

As a Junior Advertising Specialist at Distrilink, you will support the performance marketing team by setting up, monitoring and optimising advertising campaigns for consumer brands across multiple European marketplaces. You will work with our proprietary AI platform Pulse and a suite of marketplace tools to drive sustainable growth for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, manage and optimise campaigns on Amazon Sponsored Products, Brands and Display, Bol.com Advertising, Meta Ads and Google Ads.
• Monitor daily budgets, bids and performance metrics such as ACOS and ROAS.
• Conduct A/B testing of ad copy, visuals and targeting.
• Track KPIs (ACOS, TACOS, CTR, conversion rate, CPC) and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports per brand and marketplace.
• Gather and process data using Helium 10, Seller/Vendor Central and marketplace dashboards.
• Identify anomalies and opportunities, including keyword gaps and pricing issues.
• Perform keyword research, competitor analysis and monitor Buy Box status.
• Collaborate with content teams on keyword optimisation and with client leads for quarterly business reviews.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BSc or MSc) in marketing, economics, communications or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable working with numbers, Excel and dashboards.
• Interest in e‑commerce, marketplaces and digital advertising.
• Detail‑oriented, eager to learn and able to work in a structured manner.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
