IT Support Engineer

Join a friendly, collaborative team at Fnac Vanden Borre where humor and a pleasant atmosphere are valued. As an IT Support Engineer you will be the first point of contact for end‑users, handling requests and ensuring smooth daily IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process support requests and log them in the ITSM application.
• Provide phone support and staff the walk‑in desk during office hours.
• Implement solutions for incidents and monitor open tickets with vendors and internal solver groups.
• Register, replace, and monitor repairs of end‑user and industrial hardware.
• Communicate between IT and end‑users for major incidents and planned interventions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent qualification.
• First‑hand experience in IT support (junior positions acceptable).
• Good general IT knowledge and basic understanding of networks and ICT hardware.
• Fluent in spoken and written Dutch and French.
• Customer‑oriented, results‑driven, strong communication skills, stress‑resistant, open‑minded and flexible.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ITSM tools.
• Fundamental networking knowledge.
• Experience with ICT hardware installation, maintenance and repair.
