IT Student Worker – Service Desk Support

About the role

Manuchar is looking for a motivated IT student to join its Service Desk team at the Antwerp headquarters. This part‑time position offers hands‑on experience supporting daily IT operations in a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, configure and test laptops, desktops and peripheral devices.
• Replace end‑of‑life hardware according to the refresh plan.
• Assist users during hardware migrations and support basic tickets.
• Collect, retire and register IT assets in the asset management system.
• Monitor hardware stock levels and order supplies as needed.
• Support onboarding of new employees and maintain user documentation.
• Provide basic assistance for meeting‑room technology and audiovisual equipment.

Required profile

• Currently studying IT, Computer Science, Electronics‑ICT or a related field.
• Passionate about technology, proactive and solution‑oriented.
• Detail‑oriented, well‑organized and customer‑focused.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365.
• Understanding of computer hardware.
