IT Engineer – Systems Design & Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust hardware and software systems that ensure maximum stability and efficiency for our clients. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to keep the infrastructure reliable, secure, and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy new hardware and software solutions aligned with business needs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing systems to maintain optimal performance.
• Manage regular backups and develop disaster‑recovery plans.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems.
• Track and manage hardware, software assets, licenses, and maintenance contracts.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end‑users.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with networking, application development, and other teams to ensure integrated solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to obtain relevant certifications.
