IT Call Center Operator

About the role

We are looking for an IT Call Center Operator to join Netcompany’s Belgium team. You will provide first‑line technical support to internal staff, handling incidents across Windows, Linux, macOS and common office applications.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to support requests via phone, email, or chat.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues while adhering to SLA targets.
• Record, track, and monitor all interactions in ServiceNow.
• Manage the full incident life‑cycle, from initial logging to resolution and closure.
• Assist with PC setup, reconfiguration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Follow up on open issues and maintain ownership until resolved.
• Liaise between staff and the IT department to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Update documentation in SharePoint and the internal Knowledge Base.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (including traineeships).
• Strong IT knowledge covering Windows, Linux, macOS and internet browsing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Office 2019 / Microsoft 365).
• Experience using remote‑work tools such as VPN, Skype, Teams, Zoom or WebEx.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., HP Service Center or ServiceNow).
• B2+ proficiency in spoken and written English and French.
• Solutions‑oriented, team player, quick learner with excellent customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in an international, multicultural environment.
