Interim Senior Vice President Human Capital

About the role

This interim position reports directly to the Group CEO and works closely with the Group Legal Counsel. You will take full executive responsibility for the HR function across six Balkan countries, guiding the organization through a critical governance and compliance transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the group‑wide HR function, ensuring alignment with the new corporate, compliance‑driven model.
• Complete the cleanup of employment forms, converting contractors to permanent staff where required.
• Steer the interim implementation of the global Compensation & Benefits framework.
• Advance the redesign of the HR Target Operating Model to a decision‑ready stage, clarifying governance between group HR, country directors, local HRBPs and Legal.
• Make real decisions to protect execution momentum on all in‑flight workstreams and maintain HR credibility with senior leadership.

Required profile

• 20+ years of international HR experience, including 7–10 years at CHRO or SVP HR level in complex, multi‑country organisations.
• Proven interim management record at C‑1 level, with ability to step in quickly during executive transitions.
• Experience in governance clean‑ups, post‑founder transitions, or large‑scale compliance rebuilds.
• Leadership of contractor‑to‑employee conversion programmes or similar workforce restructurings.
• Fluency in English and Dutch at executive level; additional regional language is a plus.

Required skills

• HR data governance and cross‑border data repatriation knowledge (EU / non‑EU) is a strong plus.
