Information Technology Support Specialist (Field)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Field Support Technician to join our dynamic office environment. You will be the go‑to person for a wide range of IT and audio‑visual (AV) support needs, providing both on‑site and remote assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
• Manage IT asset inventory, tracking, updating, and maintaining equipment records.
• Image, refresh, and deploy computers and devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot common IT problems, including printers, software errors, and connectivity.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, and video‑conferencing systems.
• Operate AV systems during live events and resolve any technical issues that arise.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve complex problems and improve support processes.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and equipment maintenance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; IT or AV certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience providing IT support in an office environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
