Hybrid and Multicloud Architect

About the role

We are looking for a senior Hybrid and Multicloud Architect to design, build, and evolve cloud ecosystems that connect on‑premises systems with public cloud platforms. This remote, full‑time position offers the chance to shape a future‑proof cloud strategy for an international organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement hybrid and multicloud architectures that meet business, security, and compliance requirements.
• Lead end‑to‑end cloud migrations, from assessment through optimization.
• Define and enforce cloud governance frameworks, policies, and best practices.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to create performant, scalable, and reliable solutions.
• Explore emerging technologies and translate them into practical, forward‑looking implementations.
• Monitor usage, control costs, and continuously improve cloud efficiency.
• Guide engineers and operations teams, fostering expertise and ownership.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate cloud service agreements.
• Maintain clear architecture documentation and standards.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT, Information Security, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform services.
• Proven ability to build hybrid and multicloud environments that avoid vendor lock‑in.
• Experience automating infrastructure with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or Pulumi.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud security (IAM, encryption, Zero Trust) and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
• Ability to design secure, scalable networks across cloud and on‑premises.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Azure Monitor, or CloudWatch.
• Analytical mindset for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Clear communication skills and stakeholder influence.
