Human Resources Officer (Hybrid)

About the role

Redwire Space is looking for a passionate Human Resources Officer to join its HR team in Kruibeke, Belgium. In this hybrid role you will support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to learning & development and payroll backup, while ensuring compliance with Belgian legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with Belgian social legislation and tax regulations.
• Serve as first point of contact for employees and managers on HR‑related questions.
• Support the performance review cycle and manage HR administration (contracts, financial data, etc.).
• Lead the learning & development framework, creating learning paths and shaping the learning strategy.
• Handle onboarding, off‑boarding, absences, benefits and insurance administration.
• Act as backup for payroll and international payroll processes.
• Lead recruitment for supporting roles (finance, IT, PMO) and provide backup for technical hiring.
• Prepare reporting for global and internal company levels.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues and business units to optimise workflows and HR services.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation.
• Experience working in a scale‑up or SME environment is a plus.
• Ability to take ownership, work closely with employees and managers, and drive process improvements.
