About the role

The International School of Brussels seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to cover a maternity leave period. This specialist role supports payroll, contract administration, and HR digital initiatives for a community of about 340 staff members.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and process the monthly payroll for five employee groups, liaising with the social secretariat and updating the eBlox HR payroll system.
  • Execute HR action sheets, manage payroll‑related social legislation queries, and act as the campus contact for payroll compliance.
  • Produce employment contracts and amendments, manage season passes, and complete social legislation documents such as credit‑time requests.
  • Maintain complete personnel files, coordinate onboarding tasks (email accounts, badges), and handle general departmental administration.
  • Develop and promote HR digital best practices, staying current on emerging digital processes to improve productivity.

Required profile

  • Customer‑oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Supportive, adaptable communicator with a multicultural perspective.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills across all school stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of the SD Worx eBlox payroll system (or similar HR payroll software).
