Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

Greif Belgium produces steel and plastic drums and supplies industrial packaging to many sectors. For its Lier plant, the company is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner who acts as the main point of contact for employees and managers, combining operational HR support with an advisory and strategic role. The role works closely with the Belgian management team to shape a forward-looking HR policy aligned with company strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Advise managers and employees on HR policy, labour law and employee relations
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, internal mobility and offboarding
• Maintain HR data in Protime and Workday and prepare reports and analyses
• Support payroll processing for white-collar employees
• Support performance management, talent development and workforce planning
• Identify training needs and coordinate training and development initiatives
• Guide organisational changes and contribute to regional HR projects in EMEA

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in HR, labour law, business administration or a similar field
• Relevant experience in a broad HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Good knowledge of Belgian labour law
• Fluent Dutch and professional English

Required skills

• Protime and E-Blox (SD) experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of Workday is a plus
• Independent, proactive and policy-oriented approach with strong communication and organisational skills

What we offer

• Salary range of EUR 49,900 to EUR 84,900 per year, typically EUR 60,000 to EUR 75,000 for new hires, with possible short-term incentives
