HTML-CSS Artist

About the role

We are looking for an HTML‑CSS Artist to bring interactivity to graphic designs using web standards. You will create, optimise and maintain web pages and email campaigns for major clients, ensuring browser compatibility and SEO performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise HTML, CSS and JavaScript code for responsive web pages.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and SEO‑friendly markup.
• Implement and fine‑tune e‑mail campaign templates.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters and programmers on online projects for clients such as Telenet, KBC, Nissan, Nivea and Club Med.
• Integrate content into CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Umbraco) when required.

Required profile

• Proficient in Photoshop and experienced in slicing designs efficiently.
• Strong understanding of W3C coding standards and modern front‑end technologies.
• Advanced JavaScript skills, preferably with jQuery.
• Several years of experience in an interactive agency or equivalent front‑end expertise.
• Meticulous, independent yet a collaborative team player with enthusiasm for new technologies.
