HR Business Partner – Belgium & Luxembourg

About the role

As an HR Business Partner for Belgium and Luxembourg, you will act as the primary liaison between the business, employees, and unions, ensuring compliance with local labour legislation and supporting the General Manager on daily HR matters.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and chair the Works Council, manage employee relations and represent the company in negotiations with trade unions in Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Negotiate and conclude company‑level and sectoral agreements, and drive partnerships with external lawyers.
• Provide HR generalist support including organisational change, crisis management, grievance handling, disciplinary actions and terminations.
• Update HR policies and processes to ensure regulatory compliance and oversee engagement, wellness and health initiatives.
• Communicate HR updates to local HR teams, senior managers, employees and external partners.
• Advise senior managers and the General Manager on HR strategy and legal challenges.
• Manage employee contract administration, benefits contracts, and support international mobility for in‑patriates and expatriates.
• Follow up on internal HR reporting and administrative processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in HR, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian and Luxembourg labour legislation and collective bargaining.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Fluency in French, Dutch and English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, open‑space environment.
