Hire Manager – AV & Events Solutions

About the role

MM Sound and Lighting is looking for an experienced Hire Manager to join its Stirling office. You will act as the primary liaison for new and existing clients, translating event requirements into tailored AV and lighting solutions and delivering accurate quotations.

Key responsibilities

• Gather client event details through non‑technical questioning and produce customised equipment solutions with timely quotations.
• Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring expectations are exceeded and the portfolio expands.
• Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee seamless delivery of equipment and services for each event.
• Serve as the main point of contact, providing prompt and clear communication throughout the sales cycle.
• Identify and resolve issues proactively, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing high‑end client portfolios within the AV and events industry.
• Strong technical understanding of audio‑visual and lighting products and services.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and adopt a flexible, proactive attitude.
• Team‑player mindset with a customer‑first focus.
