Headshots Retoucher (Remote)

About the role

Headshots.com is looking for experienced retouchers to transform smartphone‑taken professional headshots into studio‑quality images. You will work remotely, applying consistent, natural enhancements to large batches of photos while preserving realistic skin texture and lighting.

Key responsibilities

• Retouch professional headshots from mobile photos with a natural, realistic finish.
• Correct skin tone, reduce noise, balance mixed lighting, and fix exposure issues.
• Remove or reduce glasses glare while maintaining realism.
• Perform seamless background swaps and composites.
• Maintain quality and consistency across high‑volume batches.
• Deliver work on time according to daily/weekly volume targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑volume headshot retouching.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to preserve natural texture.
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to follow established guidelines.
• Clear written English; spoken English for occasional Zoom calls is a plus.

Required skills

• Adobe Photoshop (legitimate subscription).
• Natural skin retouching with texture preservation.
• Hair masking and edge work without halos.
• Realistic background compositing.
• Color correction and exposure balancing, especially in uneven light.
