Head of Store Planning & Construction

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Head of Store Planning & Construction to lead its European store development portfolio. You will own the end‑to‑end strategy, design governance, construction oversight and financial stewardship for retail, outlet, franchise and wholesale environments across the EU.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the European Store Development function, overseeing planning, design and construction for all store formats.
• Manage and mentor a regional team of Project Managers to ensure on‑time, on‑budget openings.
• Adapt global design concepts to local markets while maintaining brand standards and delivering exceptional consumer experiences.
• Oversee full project delivery from feasibility and design through construction and fixture installation.
• Own capital planning, budget management and cost‑efficiency initiatives for the store rollout pipeline.
• Partner with Real Estate, Finance, Merchandising, Operations and Global Brand Experience to align rollouts with growth priorities.
• Lead vendor and FF&E strategy, ensuring quality execution and optimal resource utilization.
• Represent Store Development at senior leadership forums, providing strategic insights and risk assessments.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in store planning and construction within retail or consumer‑facing industries.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑site retail rollout programs at scale.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing internal teams and external partners.
• Analytical, data‑driven mindset with ability to translate KPIs into strategy.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% across the European cluster.
