Group Head of Sustainability

About the role

BESIX Group is seeking a senior leader to define and drive its Group‑wide sustainability ambition. Reporting to executive leadership, you will embed sustainability into strategy, decision‑making and daily operations across all geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Define, refine and implement a Group‑wide sustainability strategy aligned with growth objectives.
• Monitor regulatory trends, emerging risks and opportunities; ensure compliance with CSRD and other frameworks.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards and reporting mechanisms for executive decision‑making.
• Integrate sustainability into governance, risk management and capital allocation.
• Lead cultural transformation, from boardroom to project execution, including training programmes.
• Build and manage a global sustainability network and incentive structures linked to outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in sustainability, ESG or related fields.
• Deep understanding of European and international sustainability regulations.
• Strong strategic vision combined with execution capability.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills for executive audiences.
