Group Commercial Controller

About the role

Ardo is seeking a Group Commercial Controller to act as the financial co‑pilot for the commercial team. Reporting to the Group Controlling Manager and working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, you will turn commercial data into actionable insights that boost sales performance and market success.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial teams to challenge margins, pricing models and new business cases at both group and local levels.
• Own the financial planning of sales performance, targets and forecasts.
• Maintain strong commercial data governance, ensuring clean, accurate and reliable sales data.
• Support the sales organization during quotation, tendering and follow‑up of sales conditions and agreements.
• Build relationships across departments to bridge finance and sales.
• Lead process improvements and harmonise commercial controlling principles in collaboration with sales management.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial controlling.
• Experience in a production environment is a plus.
• Excellent collaboration and impactful communication skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and understanding of market dynamics.
• Result‑driven, can‑do mentality.
• Fluent Dutch, good English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Familiarity with AI tools (asset).
