Group Architect

About the role

The Group Architect will join Ageas' Technology Foundations team at the Corporate Centre in Brussels. You will help shape the architecture vision, design solution architectures for corporate projects, and ensure alignment with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate an architecture vision that supports the Corporate Centre IT strategy.
• Design solution architectures for corporate initiatives, ensuring they align with the defined vision.
• Evaluate vendors and solutions for IT projects and provide recommendations.
• Document, manage, and maintain the reference architecture library.
• Collaborate closely with the Information Security team to ensure compliance with Ageas security standards.
• Contribute to innovation, application portfolio rationalisation, and project lifecycle management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT architecture and solution design.
• Ability to define and promote an architecture vision across a large organisation.
• Experience evaluating technology vendors and solutions.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with security teams to ensure compliance.
