Group Applications Manager

About the role

The Group Applications Manager leads a 14‑person team of Business Analysts and Application Support specialists at Ardo, ensuring the delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s application portfolio. Reporting to the Group IT Director, the role works closely with senior leadership and the TMO to align application strategy with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Group Applications team, managing daily operations, projects, and budget.
• Safeguard continuity, stability, and reliability of both modern and legacy applications.
• Drive the vision and roadmap for the application landscape, aligning with IT, business, and corporate strategy.
• Manage the full application portfolio, including SAP S/4HANA, MES, WMS/WCS, advanced planning tools, CRM, finance & controlling, agro, and forecasting applications.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to ensure effective decision‑making and delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Lead change‑management efforts and guide the organization through transformation projects.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of senior‑level experience in applications management, preferably in an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Proven experience managing application projects, budgets, and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Demonstrated ability to set a strategic vision, build roadmaps, and make business‑oriented decisions.
• Experience in change management and leading organizations through transformation.
