Government Relations & ESG Engagement Advisor – Agriculture & Health Science

About the role

As a Government Relations & ESG Engagement Advisor focusing on Agriculture & Health Science, you will support Nestlé’s engagement with EU policymakers and key stakeholders. Based in Brussels, you will help align advocacy strategies with business priorities and sustainability ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Support advocacy strategies on regenerative agriculture and health science.
• Engage with EU institutions, policymakers and associations on Nestlé priorities.
• Provide expertise on agriculture, animal welfare, nutrition and health science.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including sustainability, legal and communications.
• Monitor policy developments and translate them into business insights.
• Contribute to stakeholder engagement through events and industry platforms.
• Build partnerships with external stakeholders such as associations and NGOs.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in EU affairs, public policy or government relations.
• Strong understanding of EU institutions and policymaking processes.
• Knowledge of agriculture, nutrition, health science or sustainability policy.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and multicultural environments.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., agriculture, nutrition science).
• Fluent English and proficiency in an additional European language.
