Global Privacy & Data Protection Leader – MedTech

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a senior privacy executive to lead global privacy and data protection for its MedTech sector. The role will shape strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive ethical data use across connected devices, digital surgery platforms, and AI‑enabled solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end global oversight of privacy and data protection for the MedTech sector.
• Represent the privacy function to sector executives, regional leaders, and market teams worldwide.
• Define and execute a long‑term privacy strategy that balances compliance, patient safety, and business innovation.
• Partner with the Chief Privacy Officer and MedTech leadership to embed privacy into product development and patient‑engagement models.
• Monitor evolving global privacy regulations and mature the organization’s privacy operating model.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading privacy, data protection, or compliance programs in a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
• Deep understanding of global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on medical technology.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of implementing scalable privacy frameworks.
