Full Stack Developer

About the role

Twizzit is looking for a Full Stack Developer to help shape the platform used daily by thousands of clubs, organisations and community members. You will turn ideas and user needs into clean, performant features while keeping the system stable and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and launch new functionalities that enhance the Twizzit experience.
• Maintain platform stability, performance and reliability across all environments.
• Investigate, fix and prevent bugs to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Collaborate with developers, designers and product teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
• Optimize code for performance, security and scalability as the product grows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of full‑stack development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Willingness to support the customer service team on a shared rota.

Required skills

• PHP with Symfony framework and Doctrine ORM.
• React, HTML, JavaScript and CSS for front‑end development.
• Git version control and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• API design and consumption.
• SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Docker and containerisation (desired).
• MongoDB, microservices, Redux and unit testing (desired).
