About the role
The Front Office Supervisor supports the Front Office Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue performance. Working across reception, business centre, telecoms and guest relations, you will ensure high standards of service, safety and profitability in a dynamic hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily reception operations, business centre and telecom services.
- Maintain effective communication within the front office team and with other departments.
- Handle guest comments, VIP interactions and resolve issues courteously.
- Collaborate with Reservations and Revenue Management to optimise room sales and RevPAR.
- Assist in staff recruitment, performance appraisals and motivation.
- Ensure compliance with security, cash handling, health‑and‑safety and confidentiality policies.
- Monitor departmental expenses, credit policies and accounting instructions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
Required profile
- Previous experience in guest‑facing roles within tourism or hospitality.
- Fluent in English, French and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
- Diploma or equivalent education in hospitality or related field.
- Strong customer‑resolution, appraisal and team‑leadership training.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using OPERA hotel management software.
