Front Office Agent – Hotel Reception

About the role

Join Cardo Brussels Hotel as a Front Office Agent and lead a team of hospitality ambassadors to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will be the first point of contact for leisure and business travelers, ensuring smooth check‑in/out processes and seamless service across all hotel touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, create a welcoming atmosphere and address their needs promptly.
• Supervise reception staff, ensuring adherence to brand standards and operational guidelines.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and special requirements with professionalism.
• Oversee room blocking, special requests, invoicing and payment processing.
• Coordinate communication with other departments to guarantee smooth operations.
• Assist guests with luggage, packages and guide them to food & beverage, wellness, meeting and event areas.
• Monitor building entry, report any suspicious activity and ensure security protocols are followed.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills in English and French or Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
• Customer‑service oriented with a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Experience in front‑desk or guest‑services roles, preferably in an international hotel environment.
