Freight Forwarder – Road Operations

About the role

Move forward as a Freight Forwarder – Road Operations in Puurs. You will optimise the efficiency of drivers, trucks and capacity, balancing priorities and constraints to satisfy both customers and the employer.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and enter transport order data into the proprietary system.
• Plan trips and assign transport assignments to drivers based on priorities and available resources.
• Outsource transport assignments to subcontractors and confirm orders to clients.
• Monitor assignments during and after execution, ensuring smooth delivery.
• Prepare necessary documentation to enable trip planning and execution.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in freight forwarding within road transportation.
• Fluent written and spoken Dutch and English.
• Knowledge of proprietary operational procedures and a Transport Management System.
