Freelance General Practitioner for Teleconsultations & Medical Chat (Belgium)

About the role

Alan is seeking qualified General Practitioners in Belgium to provide remote medical advice through video consultations and a 24/7 medical chat service. This freelance position allows you to work from your own practice or home while supporting Alan’s members with timely, personalized care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct video‑based teleconsultations, delivering accurate medical advice and prescriptions.
• Respond to chat inquiries within a 4‑hour window, ensuring members receive prompt assistance.
• Document consultations in compliance with Belgian medical regulations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of digital health tools and prescription software.

Required profile

• Certified General Practitioner with a valid 003 or 004 RIZIV/INAMI number.
• Proficiency in Dutch and fluency in either English or French.
• Experience in patient care and familiarity with digital health platforms.
• Strong empathy and communication skills for remote patient interaction.

Required skills

• Licensed prescription and attestation software.
• Basic digital literacy for using telehealth tools.
