Freelance Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join a high‑level cyber team on a long‑term freelance basis. You will work closely with clients and internal IT teams to monitor, detect, and remediate security threats, helping to strengthen the overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats, responding to suspicious activity.
• Perform threat detection, incident analysis, and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Manage and maintain security tools such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, antivirus solutions, and firewalls.
• Collaborate with clients and IT teams to implement security best practices, improve system hardening, and reduce cyber‑risk.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Blue Team or cyber security roles.
• Hands‑on expertise with security monitoring and investigation tools.
• Strong knowledge of incident investigation, reporting, and providing actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency in Dutch or French together with English.
