Freelance Busbar Termination Technician – Data Centre Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced freelance Busbar Termination Technician to join the final electrical installation phase of a major data‑centre project in Mons, Belgium. The assignment starts in August 2026 and is initially set for two months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform final medium‑voltage (MV) busbar terminations and connections.
• Connect busbar systems to switchgear, transformers, UPS units and other distribution equipment.
• Install flexible busbar links and complete all final electrical connections.
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Carry out torque checks and verify that installations meet project specifications and safety standards.
• Support testing, commissioning and energisation activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience with busbar terminations and MV electrical connections on data‑centre, sub‑station or industrial projects.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and installation drawings.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Possession or willingness to obtain before mobilisation: Limosa Declaration, VCA Certificate (or booked training), and A1 Certificate.
