Food Forwarder

About the role

Join MPL’s dynamic food logistics team in Antwerp as a Forwarder. You will own the full shipment journey – from the first booking to final billing – ensuring smooth import and export operations for food products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end forwarding processes for food shipments, including order entry, transport coordination and documentation.
• Validate purchase invoices, prepare export/import files and follow up on customs clearance.
• Maintain constant communication with customers, providing status updates and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to guarantee compliance with transport regulations and company standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in freight forwarding (import & export) within the food sector.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations and forwarding documentation.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus.
• High integrity, proactive attitude and ability to work autonomously.
