Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team in Chievres. The role involves handling cash transactions, serving guests, and supporting kitchen operations in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect sales slips, total sales on the cash register and process payments, providing change as needed.
• Maintain cash records and ensure the work area remains clean and orderly.
• Set up food service counters, steam tables and beverage dispensers with hot and cold items.
• Prepare coffee, tea, juices and soft drinks for guests.
• Seat guests, record their selections and transmit orders to the kitchen.
• Present bills, receive payment and perform end‑of‑shift cash reconciliation.
• Prepare fruits, vegetables and salads; portion meats and seafood for cooking.
• Monitor cooking processes to prevent over‑cooking and ensure food safety.

Required profile

• Ability to lift and move items up to 40 lb and perform frequent standing, stooping, bending and walking.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays and special events.
• Completion of at least 4 hours of food sanitation and safety training within 30 days of hire and annual refresher training.
• Meet age and legal requirements for serving alcoholic beverages (minimum 18 years).
• Valid Direct Deposit and Social Security information; background eligibility.

Required skills

• Cash register operation and basic math for transaction handling.
• Knowledge of food handling, cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
