Financial Manager

About the role

Our client, a well‑established Belgian industrial company based in Wallonia, is seeking a Financial Manager to lead the finance function and support strategic growth. The role combines oversight of core accounting processes with leadership of treasury, tax, and digital finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting, monthly and annual closings, statutory reporting and external audits.
• Lead transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and corporate tax filings.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, financing activities and banking relationships.
• Supervise insurance matters and financial risk management, including foreign‑exchange and hedging.
• Coach, develop and motivate the finance team.
• Drive process improvements, ERP developments and finance digitalisation projects.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation and corporate law.
• Proven experience in a senior finance or accounting leadership role.
• Excellent leadership, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Interest in digital transformation and AI applications in finance.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
