Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our fast‑growing industrial organization in Brussels. You will work closely with business and leadership teams to provide financial insights that drive strategic decisions and improve performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business and management teams to analyse performance and key financial drivers.
• Deliver financial insights and recommendations to support decision‑making.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and performance reviews.
• Manage month‑end closings, including margin analysis, inventory valuation and financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems and accounting records.
• Support compliance activities, external audits and credit‑risk monitoring.
• Contribute to optimisation of finance processes, reporting tools and automation initiatives.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects related to reporting, consolidation and system improvements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in audit, financial controlling or corporate finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis and controlling practices.
• Advanced Excel user with experience in ERP and reporting tools.
• Interest in technology, automation and process improvement.
• Clear communicator of financial information to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Autonomous, analytical, proactive and results‑oriented.
• Fluent in French and/or English; additional languages are a plus.
