Financial Controller

About the role

SOFICO is looking for a Financial Controller to join its Ghent office and support high‑quality financial insight, reliable forecasting, and robust financial governance across the organization. You will work closely with accounting teams and senior stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and drive finance transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with accounting teams during monthly and yearly closing cycles to guarantee precise financial reporting.
• Prepare board, management, and lender reporting packs, including KPI dashboards and financial insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario‑analysis processes for multiple entities.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, covenant tracking, and support treasury coordination.
• Improve financial processes, internal controls, and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting within an international multi‑entity environment.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to numerical accuracy.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights for stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities, capable of managing priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
