Financial Controller – Brussels

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to lead the Belgian finance function of an international retail and FMCG group. You will be the technical backbone for all financial reporting, analysis and process improvement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Full ownership of month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing.
• Group reporting and coordination of external audit as the single point of contact for auditors, tax and group finance.
• Partner with accounting, controlling and commercial teams on margin and performance topics.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Drive process improvement, ERP evolution and reporting redesign.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in financial control, including IFRS reporting and consolidation.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
• Big‑4 background is a plus.
